Sacrificing cards into my temple to buy favors from the loa is such a weird, satisfying loop, and the Ritualist's kit meshes nicely with the base set without bloating the table. Took a round or two to grasp when to sacrifice versus hold, but once it clicked I didn't want to play anything else that n

The Ritualist plays so differently from the base decks — sacrificing cards into your temple to earn loa favors makes every turn a real trade-off. You definitely need the core set to use this, but if you already own it, this lineage pack is worth grabbing.

Building your temple card by card while deciding which loa spirit to appease makes every turn feel like an actual ritual. The Ritualist plays completely differently from the base factions, so it's basically a new puzzle each game.
