Star Realms United: Heroes

Thirteen cards doesn't sound like much, but these heroes hit the table fast and the ally triggers chain in ways that completely change how I draft. My wife grabbed two in one turn and suddenly her trade row engine was unstoppable.

Scrapping heroes for their ally triggers completely changed how my deck runs — suddenly every turn has a real decision instead of just buying the biggest ship. The rules card is tiny but clear enough that we were playing them right on the first game.

The mechanic of playing heroes directly into play instead of waiting a turn is such a clever twist for this game—it immediately changes how you chain ally abilities together. The rules card that comes with it explains everything clearly, so we were shuffling these into our decks within minutes.
