Star Realms Core Set

The deckbuilding twist on spaceship combat hooked me faster than I expected, and a single game wraps up in about 20 minutes so we kept playing "just one more." The trade row mechanic keeps every turn interesting since you're never sure what ships will show up to buy.

Played my first game last night and immediately lost track of time — the trade row keeps every turn interesting because you're never sure what ships will show up. For a small box it packs a surprising amount of strategy, and my wife who usually hates card games asked for a rematch.

Been playing this nonstop since it arrived — the deckbuilding mechanic where both players share the same trade row keeps every game tense and unpredictable. Even after a dozen rounds, it still feels fresh because the available ships rotate every time.
