Make sure to check out KAPOW! Volume 1 as well.

Grab your dice and get ready to battle! KAPOW!’s buildable dice allow you to add and remove dice faces, making for a super-strategic dice-battling experience. With each roll, you decide how to attack, defend, and power up your character by choosing where to place your dice.

Battles get more explosive as you gain more dice and dice faces. KAPOW! is easy to learn, but has layers of strategy as you customize your dice pool and leverage unique character powers!

Will you play as one of the Heroes; the rampant Spore, telekinetic Mindset, or sonic Crescendo? Or as one of the Villains; the radioactive 235, explosive Fuse, or deafening Reverb? Combine with any other KAPOW! Set (like KAPOW! Volume 1) for team play (2 vs. 2).

Contents include 2 player screens, 2 player boards, 6 character boards, 2 Health dials, 26 dice, 52 dice faces, 11 punchouts, 8 Team-Up cards, and a rulebook.

Swapping dice faces mid-battle is way more fun than it sounds — you can completely change your strategy between turns. The case of six means everyone at the table gets their own set, which cuts down on the usual grabbing. Took a round to learn, but now it's our go-to.

Swapping out dice faces mid-battle changes everything about how you plan your turns, and my group picked it up in one round. Six packs was the right call for our table since everyone wanted their own set.

Miles ★★★★☆

Six packs is plenty for our game nights since we usually have four or five players, and the buildable dice make every round feel different. My only gripe is that the rulebook took a couple of read-throughs before the combat clicked.
